OUR
STAFF
Under the leadership of our office manager, Polly
Tyson, we are professionally staffed by a complement of well-trained
personnel. Our staff is composed of receptionists, medical assistants,
insurance clerks, transcribers and registered nurses. The practice's
management and staff work together to create a pleasant atmosphere
in order to provide comfort and meet your special needs.
When you come for an appointment, the first person
you are likely to meet is our receptionist, Sandra Meggs. She will
get updated insurance and demographic information from you and will
get your file ready for you to be seen. Sandra schedules appointments,
collects and posts payments, and also performs many other office
duties.
One of our medical assistants, Thea Boyd, Kathy
Johnson, or Debbie Maxwell, will then prepare you for your examination.
Please let them know of any special needs or concerns about the
exam that you may have.
During your visit it may be necessary to be scheduled
for other procedures, X-rays, surgery, referrals, etc. If this is
recommended, our clinical coordinator, Vicky Newton, R.N., will
assist you in scheduling these. Also, if you have any questions
or need assistance between visits you may call her and she will
be happy to help you.
If you have insurance billing or filing questions,
you may be directed to Deborah Williams. Deborah is our transcriptionist
and is responsible for filing insurance claims and pre-certifying
many procedures and surgery.
We are excited to offer our newest service of
laser hair removal and laser vein treatment. Laser hair removal
will be scheduled with Thea Burke, R.N. or Vicky Newton, R.N. Laser
vein treatment will be scheduled with Dr. Burke or Dr. Robinson.
When an appointment is scheduled, information will be given to you
to prepare you for treatment. If you have any questions about laser
treatments, please call our office at 1-229-243-0152.
We will strive to make your visit as pleasant
and efficient as possible. Thank you for putting your trust and
confidence in our practice.
